SEB raided SPA centers at Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) conducted surprise raids on many spas and message centres in the city, rescuing 24 women engaging in sex work.

Usually, task forces or law enforcement officers conduct raids on spas. After getting several allegations about criminal activity at SPA centres, DGP K V Rajendranath Reddy ordered SEB sleuths to conduct special operations.

Special teams of approximately 62 officers, led by SEB IG Ravi Prakash, raided approximately 8 SPA centres located inside various police station bounds throughout the city. Three Bangkok women were identified and rescued during the operations.
