Delhi: In an unexpected event, Supreme Court Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and other senior judges congratulated the daughter of a cook who works at the court. Pragya Samal (25) is the daughter of chef Ajay Kumar Samal and has received master's admission with a scholarship to Michigan University in California.
The Chief Justice and other justices gathered in the Judge's Lounge at the Supreme Court on Wednesday morning before the proceedings began to congratulate Pragya. Judges praised Pragya and helped her parents.
