Hyderabad: In a first-of-its-kind effort, the Telangana state government will enlist the intelligence department to evaluate the conduct and qualifications of candidates applying for vice chancellor positions at the state's government universities.
The state administration opted to fill five empty vice-chancellor positions while simultaneously searching for VCs for the state's other eight universities. A notice was sent out asking applications from interested and qualified professors.
